Who we are
This website is operated by JPG Infotech LLC, an engineering firm at 7616 Savannah Street, Falls Church,Virginia 22043, United States. For anything in this policy, write toinfo@jpginfotech.com or call +1 703-208-0530.
What we collect
We collect only what the forms on this site ask for, and the technical records needed to keep them working.
When you use the enquiry form
- Your name and work email address, which are required in order to reply.
- Your organisation and phone number, both optional.
- The subject area you select, and the message you write.
When you apply for a position
- Your name, email address, and optionally phone, location, LinkedIn and portfolio links.
- Your covering note and your resume file.
- Your consent record, and the position you applied for.
- A reference code, so you can check your own application status without an account.
Technical records
To keep the service available and to investigate abuse, we record the IP address and browser user agent of form submissions, a request identifier, the result of the security verification check, and administrative sign-in and access events. Rate limiting uses the IP address to count recent submissions.
We do not ask for, and the forms do not accept, government identifiers, payment details, health information, or credentials. Please do not put any of those in a message to us.
Why we use it
- To answer business enquiries and work out whether an engagement makes sense.
- To assess applications, contact candidates, and run the hiring stages.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and the administration console.
- To detect abuse and keep a security audit trail.
- To meet legal and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add enquiry addresses to a marketing list. A reply to your message is a reply to your message.
Legal basis and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw a job application at any time. Send requests toinfo@jpginfotech.com, and include enough detail for us to find the record, such as the email address you used or your application reference code.
Cookies and analytics
The public pages of this site set no cookies of their own. There is no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on the pages you are reading. We measure how the site is used, but only if you agree to it first, and only in the way set out below.
What measurement means here
Nothing is recorded, read from your browser, or sent anywhere until you choose Allow on the notice at the bottom of the page. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we collect nothing at all and the site behaves identically.
If you do agree, we record for the duration of that browser tab:
- A random identifier we generate, held only until you close the tab. It is not derived from anything about you or your device.
- The pages you visit, without any query string or anchor.
- How long you spend on each page, and how far down it you scroll.
- A count of clicks and key presses — the number only, never what you clicked or typed.
- Whether you are on a phone, a tablet or a desktop.
- The website that linked you here, by its domain name only.
- Your country, which our network provider tells us at the edge.
We deliberately do not collect several things that would make this more useful to us and worse for you. There is no fingerprinting of any kind: nothing probes your fonts, canvas, audio, hardware or plugins, and we build no identifier out of your request headers. Your IP address is never stored in any form. We do not record your exact screen size, your timezone or your language, because those are individually harmless and together are enough to recognise you.
The consequence is deliberate: because the identifier is discarded with the tab, we cannot tell a returning visitor from a new one, cannot follow you between visits, and cannot connect any of this to you, to an enquiry, or to a job application. It measures the site, not people.
Records are deleted automatically after 400 days. You can withdraw at any time and we will delete the current record immediately:
The administration console, which is not part of the public site, sets one strictly necessary session cookie. It is HttpOnly, marked Secure, restricted with SameSite, and is used only to keep an authenticated administrator signed in. Cloudflare's security verification may also set what it needs to tell a person apart from an automated script.
Service providers
We keep the list of third parties short, because every one of them is another place your information exists.
- Cloudflare
- Website and API hosting, network protection, and the security verification challenge on our public forms.
- Supabase
- The application database and private object storage used for resume files. Resume objects are not publicly accessible and are retrieved through the authenticated administration service.
- Resend
- Transactional email delivery, used only when email notification is configured. Recipients are our own inbox and, for applications, the candidate's confirmation address.
Resume handling
Resume files are accepted as PDF only, up to five megabytes, and are stored in a private Supabase object-storage bucket rather than at a public URL. They can only be retrieved through an authenticated administrative session, and each retrieval is written to the security log.
Retention and deletion
The site does not automatically delete records on a fixed schedule. Enquiries, candidate records, resumes, and security records remain until an authorised administrator deletes them. You can ask us to delete a record by writing to info@jpginfotech.com with the email address or application reference needed to find it. A record may need to be retained where a legal recordkeeping requirement applies.
International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, while Supabase and Resend process information according to their configured regions and service operations. Information may therefore be processed outside the country where you are located.
Children
This website and its recruiting features are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write toinfo@jpginfotech.com and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
